"Why did you ask me to home coming?"I ask.
"I guess I just wanted someone to go with." He replies smoothing his hair down, acting as if he cared about it.
"Is that the only reason?" I had hoped for more, but the silence lasted only until the bus rumbled to a halt.
"Why did you say yes?" He stars into my color changing eyes. My brain processed the thought and then I replied.
"You asked I said yes because, I didn't want to let you down."He nodded and looked away.
"But I'm the one that let you down in the end."
"No thats not true."
"It is though."
"Well your loss; you're missing out on a very beautiful lace dress." The bus screeched at his stop.
"I'll see you tomorrow."
"Ya, maybe i'll Facebook you." I called after him as he picked up his backpack and got off the bus.His twin brother joked with his friends as he got off. Ending their conversations with hoots and catcalls. The twins are identical but I know the difference. I only noticed them when I first had class with him. They had lots of differences. Such as: his hair lays flat against his head, his brother's stood straight up. He has straighter posture, and his brother had more of a swagger-walk. His right canine tooth was in line with the rest of his teeth and his brother's jutted inward towards his tongue. His face was much kinder looking , in the way his eyes shined and also in the way his eyes sparkle like black pools when the light hit them. His brother's weren't as kind, they didn't see right through me, surfacing emotions, that I didn't know I could feel.
